    Plane Walk

    A Plane Walker is a person that has the ability to travel to other plaines. For most people planes are an unknown concept and to have the ability not only to travel, but to survive the journey is a rare ability.

    My first journey

    The first plane walk was triggered by a near death experience when an enormous explosion caused the spark to awake and Xovus discovered his abilities. On the first plane walk, he ended up in the realm of Eldraine (3) where he spent some time to gain streight and learn more about his new skill. After that, the first controlled jump took him to Kaladesh (7). After that he made an easy jump to Dominaria (6) where he immediately jumped to Mercadia (2). He then moved on to Ikoria (18) and then finally back to Ravnica (15). He then took a short visit to 19 before returning and meeting up with the rest of the team.

    Map of Planes 

    As a experienced plane walker Xovus can jump two steps between planes (compared to just the one early on). It's easier and safer to move up, down, left, right compared to a hell ride that a diagonal move is. Below is a map of planes that Xovus knows about. The map wraps around the corners.

    Xovus has been to planes marked with bold red, planes marked with # has been visited by a member of the group but we do not know the name of the plane.

    After the group found each other again back in Ravnica, they had a meeting and shared their stories in Serra's Realm where they felt self from prying eyes. The picture below is all the different planes we had collectively discovered together.

    Arcavios

    The Great University Strixhaven is a magical university in the the plane of Arcavios. It was discovered by Losty during his first planewalk, we later returned to talk with Kasmina who had guided him during his journey.

    Arcavios is a world mostly unknown to Xovus, he has only been in the Great University Strixhaven who teach magic, it's a great source of knowledge and also the place where Kasmina lives.

    The "no name" group 

    The unnamed group, protects the planes from destruction and harm. Kasmina is the the one that offered us membership of the group. Her group needs warriors who have sparked that can be used to protect the planes.

    Theo Verada 

    New recruit of the order, shy, from Gobakhan. Gobakhan has storms of diamond dust that will slice people apart unless protected by shields mages.

    Kasmina 

    Human and really old and powerful. Lives in Strixhaven. She was much more powerful back in the day before Dominaria collapsed in to it self and powerful plane walkers from her group stepped in an used most of their collective power to prevent the collapse of Dominaria by preforming the mending, and because Dominaria is/was the nexus, prevent the collapse of the planes.

    Order of the Open Flame

    Dominaria

    Dominaria is currently/was the nexus of the planes. All these energies has caused chaos to the plane. The plane was collapsing a few thousands years ago when several immensely powerful plane walkers sacrificed their spark to stabilize it to protect the multiverse.

    Tolaria West 

    We met Professor Donato, Brine Seer in Tolaria West Campus that took us to Professor Venters, Archvist of Planar Studies. Venters was attacked and almost killed when "the silver handed man" tried to kill him to steal a book about the ice age. It looked like the man had purple mana. He also rearranged the magical map of the location of the planes and studied it.

    The Journey to Jamuraa 

    Professor Venters suggested we take the boat from Tolaria West (top left) to Jamuraa (middle right).

    Tolaria West to Spice Isles 

    We started by paying a fishing boat to travel to Spice Isles (red line). We got the journey for free because we helped the fishing boat with a record catch of fish.

    At the Spice Isles we found Soror Marium, Duchess of the Spice Isles. She tried to catch a ride to Corondor from the ship The Valeriad, a ship captained by Captain Barbe Violette. We got paid 2000 Westmark to guard The Duchess from pirates and dangers at the sea. We will part our ways at the city Suqata, Jamuraa.

    The Valeriad 

    We got to know the crew a little after we left port and started to cross the open sea. Xovus asked about our destination Suq'ata, it sounded like a place with a lot of wildlife, savanna/tropical style of animals. He was pointed out that do no disturb the order in the city and do not hunt their animals.

    During the voyage, we where attacked by a Tolarian Serpent. A huge battle occurred and we where victorious to the surprise to the ships crew. The serpent is usually the end of a ship like this. The crew tell us that some of the Tolarian Serpents are intelligent and they some times allies with pirates.

    We increased the speed of the ship to try to outrun possible pirates, but after a few hours two giant albatross with a 100ft wingspan approached carrying two pirates each on their back. They started attacking the ship. During the combat, dash used the wand and it randomly rolled a wild magic chaos sphere with a radius of 964 feet where all magic casts where randomized. The effect will last for 90-something years, and it's invisible from the outside.

    One pirate that we captured tells me he is a Talas Privateer that works for the crown of Caliman during the interrogation. They are at war with most everyone at sea, and an attack during war is always an acceptable spoil of war. He also tells us that we most likely are hunted by his people still... we kill him and sails on. During the following night we realize that we are followed and we play cat and mouse trying to get rid of them during the night with a decoy, it failed.

    The pirate ship catches up with us. The island Ru-Nora will not be friendly to us and we would probably be even worse of if we headed there so we choose to fight close to a few small islands to get some additional strategic cover. A large ship to ship combat starts, we win the battle and sink the pirate ship.

    Xovus and Ø loots the ship from the bottom of the sea. We fins a few interesting items. The captain of the Valeriad conscripts the surviving pirates as crew and the journey continues to Suqata, Jamuraa where we part our ways. Valeriad will unload cargo and prepare to travel back. The Duchess will carry on to Corondor where she lives.

    Jamuraa 

    Suqata 

    The largest continent on Dominaria. We exit at the port of Suqata, an old medivial looking city with an Arabian or middle east type of feeling. There are a lot of different spice trading going on in the city, some of the group buy some spice and trade a little but Xovus mainly stays out of the way.

    A mr. T (we assume Teferi) pays for your stay in the inn for the night.

    Femeref 

    Teferi is somewhere in Femeref, we passed the cost earlier but we followed our promise to deliver the Duchess to Suqata.

    Teferi Akosa

    We meet Teferi and his daughter Niambi in the small village of Tefemburu. The village is a small village of just 10 houses. Before the disaster this village was a much larger town. The village has an African style to it.

    Teferi is an necromage, a time mage. He remember us from the future and the past. This is the first time we meet him from our point of view.

    Teferi is a bit over 1200 years old, he is not a plane walker at the moment because he lost his spark when he was part of the mending that prevented the destruction of the multiverse and Dominaria. His daughter is over 140 years old and looks older than Teferi.

    The Mending

    About 60 years ago Teferi sacrificed his spark to prevent the collapse of the multiverse. Plane walkers before this was much more powerful, they where like goods, almost impossible to destroy, could form an reshape worlds and so on.

    They traveled all over the multiverse, but all that travel had the cost of puncturing holes in the fabric of time and space. Plane walkers could transport living things with them, and there where gates that could transport entire ships between planes. The ferections from a plane called frerexia, a machine civilization used these gates to attack and convert living beings to machines.

    All the holes and fractured space and time caused the multiverse to start to collapse, this caused chaos especially on Dominaria who was the nexus of the planes. The mending of the time streams together to close the time rifts and heal the multiverse. This stopped the collapse but caused ripple effects in the multiverse. Most likely this is the reason why the nexus started to move away from Dominaria, and probably why the guild pact broke down at Ravnica, who also lifted the protected cloak that had protected Ravnica and opened the plane for plane walkers.

    As part of the mending, the time streams where manipulated to greatly limit the power of the spark. The spark is now much more limited compared to before. It is also impossible to create gates, and a plane walker cant anymore bring living matter with him in a jump like before.

    Teferi faced out half the continent, to spare it, ask Daniel for more info.

    He know nothing about the man with the metal arm that tried to take the book about the Ice Age. Teferi become quite worrisome that he did no know that we had the book with us. As a time mage he was able to see in the future, but for some reason this was cloaked for him. What else did he not see? What the man planning this? Did he know we would see him?

    Jace 

    Teferi tells us that Jace is a mind reader. He grow up in Ravnica, the metal arm man as a father figure. Later lived in Kaladesh maybe. He did bad things, whiped peoples mindes, changed laws to her gain. The identity of the metal armed man is hidden from Teferi in some way.

    • Jace: He told us that Jace had lost his memory before, he would be found at the grave grieving his loss.

    The metal armed man, and Jace was in some location in Ravnica when he looked 10 years old. They where at a location with medical supplies.

    Mr Taz 

    The Vadalken we handed Krenko to was Mr Taz. Taz is a shapeshifter, but it's unclear of he really exists. He is probably an avatar of someone else.

    Chasm under the guild hall 

    It was created because they like to stop Ravnica from being discovered. Has something to do with the moon, someone is prisoned "on a moon", possible on a world with just the one moon. Teferi can't really describe the moon, this moon is an ice moon. Felt like it was encasing something.

    The Immortal Sun 

    Teferi can't know about the end of the story where the metal armed man took The Immortal Sun that prevented plane walks. A story line that played out during Izkris initial plane walks.

    Ø (Dash) 

    Was made by a person who is not a person, an elf scientist. Uses amoebas of some kind. He is not the original, also a creations. Bald, green skin.

    Losty 

    He has not got all the memories unlocked yet. A skilled telepath could unlock these memories. There are possible future memories where Jace unlocks the memories.

    My Sire 

    I asked who he was. He has no idea, this was before the guild pact was broken and Ravnica was cloaked.

    Eldraine

    As a Knight of Vantress knowledge is key, the knights travel the world and collect information for the mirror. The mirrors plans to learn it all, know everything and happily accepts and trade new knowledge.

    Vantress 

    Castle Vantress is located in the middle of lake Lochmere and is the seat of the Knight of Vantress and the Magic Mirror. Vantress a center of magic in Eldraine, with is the primary reason that Xovus choose to travel here to learn more about his new plane walk abilities after his first spark.

    Knight of Vantress 

    Xovus has a customized banner that refers to his Orzhov origins. He was very clear with the mirror that he would always be Orzhov overall, but would be happy to join the knighthood to help each other to learn.

    The banner in questionmodified from a standard Vantress banner, the Orzhov insignia is added to the top and Xovus primary colors, black, red and white are prominent. The night shield is still there with the blue colors as it's base. The gold represent money and wealth that all good Orzhovs hope to achieve.

    The Mirror 

    The magic mirror is the leader of the Magical Castle of Vantress. It knows almost everything it is to know on the realm of Eldraine. It thirst for knowledge, to know it all and happily trade knowledge for favors.

    Xovus has two favors to ask the mirror after an successful "trade" of information about Kaladesh.

    Garenbrig 

    The first people Xovus met after he woke up in the confusing world of Eldraine. He had just walked his first plane walk and was fully strained from the jump. He followed some stone constructions and found his way to castle Garenbrig where he met Hal.

    Xovus stayed here for three (?) weeks to regain energy feeding first from animal blood, and later willingly on human and giant blood.

    Lochtwain 

    Xovus and Hal passed this kingdom on our way to Vantress. The current "high king" Queen Ayara of Lochtwain is ruling the realm.

    Ravnica

    Finally after all these chaotic decades, Xovus have once again found a place to live, people he call friends and one again connected with part of his family and guild. Slowly working his way back in to the society of Ravnica.

    Xovus Home 

    Xovus never cared that much for a home since he was turned. He prefer to roam the streets or hang in The Culture whenever he can.

    Plaza South 

    He has an apartment at the second floor in a back ally. This is in one of the less nicer areas of the precinct. Xovus only bought it here to be close to The Culture with is where he spends most of his free time. The club is also his primary source of food.

    The apartment consists of a single room, it's dirty and dark. The only window is closed off from a bookshelf giving the room a grim look.

    Lifestyle 

    Like any good Orzhov he understands the importance of money. But since he turned vampire he has been drained of most due to his life choices. Over the last decades he has slowly been gaining some money again.

    Meshir Family 

    The Family is Wealthy and have slowly been moving up the ranks in Orzhov. Most success Meshirs have moved to the tenths districts and Xovus has contact with two branches of it, the most wealthy branch is living in Plaza West. They love to tell people that they can see Orzhova from their house.

    The branch that Xovus mostly care about are the direct descendants of one of Xovus brothers. They are the one that Xovus visits, they invite him to smaller family functions and they are the one that are friends with the Hoods. They live in Griffin Heights. They are wealthy and have a really nice house where Xovus is always welcome to stay a night.

    Xovus 

    Xovus has a modest lifestyle, living in a back ally in Plaza Souths. He has a really simple home, but it does not really matter because he only rests there, when needed.

    Priest of Orzhov

    When the rift opened after the grand explosion criminals escaped all over the city and caused chaos. Some of the more hi-end criminals have apparently joined Mr Taz.

    The new guild order 

    After the rift opened several guilds have changed leaders, or people in powers has been replaced. There are rumors of a new group that controls it all from behind the scenes. People that are suspected to be part of it are:

    • Navaid Bon (Azorius)
    • Nikya of the Old Ways (Gruul)
    • Prime Speaker Vannifar (Simic)
    • Teysa Karlov (orzhov) [suspected]
    • Some Golgari factions [suspected]

    Note that Teysa has been been disposed and is currently on the run. Navaid, Nikya and Prime has replaced the guilds previous leaders. Little is known about the Selesnya.

    Fopter 

    Flying "helecopter style" of craft run by the Azorius to monitor the citizens since the cataclysmic event after the explosion. There is an curfew after the sun goes down. When we first arrived back after our spark, we had to get ID:s from the Azorius. Xovus used his new name Tzim Meshir in the documents.

    Depths where transferred to heir, when no heir where found the filler got the heir. This is a specific corner case that happened because there where ghosts. The market was flooded with money with causes hyper inflation.

    At the moment anyone who kill dash will be the new guild leader. Will setup a will to prevent this by dictate what happens when dash dies. There was talk about that the guild should vote for a new leader.

    There will be voting if dash dies, dash monetary assets are a little unclear how they would be distributed. Xovus was recommended to draft a will of his own.

    Dash like to shorten the maximum about of time a debt can be, there may be a shortened amount of time left for current debters. Open a embassy for the guildless. Try to clear up the criminal accusations at Teysa and Jace.

    Orzov zinos are worth less money compared to other guilds zinos because the hyper inflation.

    Hyper inflation has stopped, was just a short event but orzhov zinos has lost a lot of money.
