We Sparked

Xovus Journey ∾

The first plane walk was triggered by a near death experience when an enormous explosion caused the spark to awake and Xovus discovered his abilities. On the first plane walk, he ended up in the realm of Eldraine (3) where he spent some time to gain streight and learn more about his new skill. After that, the first controlled jump took him to Kaladesh (7). After that he made an easy jump to Dominaria (6) where he immediately jumped to Mercadia (2). He then moved on to Ikoria (18) and then finally back to Ravnica (15). He then took a short visit to 19 before returning and meeting up with the rest of the team.

It took Xovus some time to realize that the talk about "other planes" and "plane walkes" where real. He first woke up in a forest alone in Eldraine with was a strange sensation for him, no buildings!

Eldraine ∾

He believed for quite some time that he had been teleported to a distent district on Ravnica. That made a lot of more sense! He was really hurt after the explosion, and the added strain from his first, uncontrolled, plane walk was almost to much for him. But he felt better after he found an animal to feed on and started to explore.

Garenbrig ∾

He found his way to the Castle Garenbrig be following enormous stone constructions in the landscape. Where he met his first people, and he got to know Hal, knight of Garenbrig.

They did not know about vampires, not sure of this was a good or bad thing but Xovus lived on animal blood for some time until he felt to poisoned and needed real humanoid blood. He considered if he would drink in the cover of night or just straight out ask them if he could bite them. The knights where friendly so he talking with them about his needs and ho his surprise there where really eager to offer their blood to him.

Xovus did not understand this at the moment, but they showed courage by doing this to help me. But that explains why the knights where so eager for me to drink from them.

I spend a few weeks there to recover, after that I asked for a place of magic with the hope of regaining some knowledge about plane waking and how to do that again, controlled this time. I needed to find a path home again. Hal offered to guild me to Castle Vantress, a school of magic and "the place to be" for magic enquirers.

Lochtwain ∾

Xovus and Hal passed this kingdom on our way to Vantress. The current high king Queen Ayara of Lochtwain is ruling the realm of Eldraine.

Vantress ∾

They finally found they way to Castle Vantress, Hal and Xovus parted ways hand entered the castle. He was brought before the mirror who is a magic talking mirror that has a quest of know everything! It was curious about me and I offered up some information about my home (I talked a little about Orzhov, and how awesome we are) and the mirror offered up some information it contained, knowledge about plane walking.

It had acquired that from two plane waking twins. The mirror did not know that much about the other planes so I spent about a months studying books and magic in the school to find, understand and control my spark.

Under that time I needed to drink and I started to get close to a dwarf called Neverhilda, one thing lead to another and I did not only get a person to drink from, I also got my self a girlfriend.

I was knighted and tasked by the mirror to bring back knowledge to the mirror. Sounded like and easy task considered that the mirror know almost nothing about other planes. He also felt that it did not interfere with his Orzhov beliefs.

He and Nerverhilda had started to make custom a magical cape with part Knight of Vantress and part Orzhov design. Xovus left the plane before it was completed but later on collected it.

Kaladesh ∾

His first jump was draining but nothing compared to the last time. He ended up in a city in Kaladesh. This was an interesting place with no mana, only a more raw form of magic, the ether. The Ether powered most things in the society including constructs more refined he had ever seen Izzet construct home in Ravnica.

He entered a shop to try to buy medical supplies (maybe to sell later on to make a profit). The shopkeeper had never seen a Viashino and misidentified him and called the police. Xovus tried to play nice telling them he was from a remote part of the world but the police where corrupt and he got thrown in the bridge for a missing training license. One of the larger prisoners tried to "show who's the bos" but he just ended up being bitten and almost drained of blood by Xovus. Since then, Xovus had half the cell for him self, the rest tried to stay away.

He talked with one of the prisons who had been there for years without any formal sentence. Xovus realized that waiting or talking his way out was unlikely. The prisoner was a species that he had never seen before. They lived naturally with the ether, but humans that controlled Kaladesh had claimed sole ownership and control of all the ether.

Xovus had finally "recharged" from his last jump and jumped away in front of the suprised prisoners.

Dominaria ∾

His second jump took almost no effort compared to the last one. This was an easy plane walk. He ended up at the world of Dominaria, but did not know it. It was just empty field with enormous dead beasts at the horizon, Xovus jumped again.

Mercadia ∾

He ended up outside a city that was on the top of an up side down pyramid in the middle of the desert. He spent a night there exploring the city little. It looked to be a trading spot in the middle of a desert on this plane. On the bottom there was a slum and trading stations where traders unloaded their camels. The main city was on the top and there there where several different layers as well, the more wealthy where living on the top.

Xovus socialized with some people, build expensive drinks. The leader of group at the table got really drunk and went for a piss from the edge and Xovus used that to drink from him to satisfy his needs. He had not consumed blood for some time.

Ikoria ∾

The next destination was Ikoria where he got to know X and explored the landscape. There was mana crystals growing out of the ground and enormous beasts (large like mountains) roaming the landscape. He met X in the forest where he jumped in and they journeyed to the city of X but was attacked outside the city walls when they realized he was a magic user. Apparently they did not allow others to do magic. This was a close call but Xovus was able to escape back to the forest again.

He got the means to contact X if he ever returned.

Ravnica ∾

Xovus had learned to "listen" for the life and feel the type of magic in the surrounding realms early one. This was probably from the knowledge the mirror shared with him, combined with his own studies. With this knowledge he was able to stay away from dead and chaotic worlds. When he was ready to jump from Ikoria he felt the signature magic and enormous amount of life from a realm close by, it had to be Ravnica and it was! He jumped home and ended up in Tin Street.

Xovus visited the Hoods and Adams mother Eveline believed Adam was dead, and at this point, so did Xovus. Xovus assumed that he was the only one that survived. Eveline removed the debt Xovus had to the Hoods.

19 ∾

With district 10 in chaos, all his friends dead he jumped to plane 19 and had a meeting with Red Riding Hood and Werewolves, another close call that he survived.

We found each other ∾

Back on Ravnica again I found that the rest had survived as well, they had just needed more time to get back to Ravnica. Some got back to the correct plane, but found them self in a remote district. We spent time in the realm of Serra's Realm where we felt self and shared out experiences with antother.

The most interesting cliff notes where that Izkri had found Jace in Ixalan. He had lost his memories. There where an item there that prevented plane walking that later on got stolen by person with a silver hand, in the process killing another plane walker from Ravnica, the love of Jace. Jace jumps away.

Upzec jailbreak ∾

When the rift opened after the grand explosion criminals escaped all over the city and caused chaos. Some of the more hi-end criminals have apparently joined Mr Taz.

The new guild order ∾

After the rift opened several guilds have changed leaders, or people in powers has been replaced. There are rumors of a new group that controls it all from behind the scenes. People that are suspected to be part of it are:

• Navaid Bon (Azorius)
• Nikya of the Old Ways (Gruul)
• Prime Speaker Vannifar (Simic)
• Teysa Karlov (orzhov) [suspected]
• Some Golgari factions [suspected]

Note that Teysa has been been disposed and is currently on the run. Navaid, Nikya and Prime has replaced the guilds previous leaders. Little is known about the Selesnya.

Fopter ∾

Flying "helecopter style" of craft run by the Azorius to monitor the citizens since the cataclysmic event after the explosion. There is an curfew after the sun goes down. When we first arrived back after our spark, we had to get ID:s from the Azorius. Xovus used his new name Tzim Meshir in the documents.
